Come nell'incontro in Polonia nel mese di novembre 2016 la settimana è stata intensa e produttiva, caratterizzata da attività varie relative al fenomeno della migrazione.
I 18 ragazzi, provenienti dalle cinque scuole partner del progetto, hanno presentato i loro lavori con grande senso di responsabilità, cooperazione ed entusiasmo.
Il giorno 20 aprile i ragazzi e i docenti sono stati ricevuti dal Sindaco della cittadina portoghese, che ha accolto con calore ed ospitalità le varie delegazioni.
Particolarmente efficace è stata la visita all'ufficio immigrazione di Oporto, dove i nostri alunni si sono distinti formulando interessanti domande al funzionario, relative al fenomeno oggetto di studio.
Il soggiorno è stato reso ancora più gradevole dalle visite guidate alle città di Oporto, Aveiro e della spiaggia meravigliosa di Costa Nova, apprezzando inoltre, usi e costumi dei luoghi.
I nostri alunni sono stati ospitati dalle famiglie portoghesi, cui va un particolare ringraziamento per la loro ospitalità e cortesia.
I lavori si sono svolti in un clima di serena cooperazione e professionalità, nonché allegria e grande entusiasmo, il che ha rafforzato il nostro senso di appartenenza alla Comunità Europea.

13.00 – Picking up Italian students and teachers at the airport (host families and Portuguese teachers)
14.00 – Picking up Spanish students and teachers at the airport (host families and Portuguese teachers)
15.10 – Picking up Polish students and teachers at the airport (host families and Portuguese teachers)
19th April (Wednesday)
Arrival day (Greece 9:25 – Porto)
8.20 – Arrival at school (Poland, Spain, Italy)
8.30 – Contact with Portuguese students (for students only)
10.00 – Visiting “Parque Molinológico de Ul” (A molinological park)
13:00 – Lunch (school canteen)
14.00 – Welcome reception (school hall)
14.30 - School presentations (school auditorium)
15.00 – School presentations (powerpoint presentation about an influent emigrant or immigrant)
15.45 – Coffee break (school bar)
16.00 - School presentations (drama presentation about an influent emigrant or immigrant)
17.30 – Guided tour of the school
18.30 – “Fado” moment
19.00 – Dinner at school - tasting Portuguese cuisine and enjoying Portuguese folk music (Rancho Folclórico de Úl)

10.00 – Visit to the House-Museum where Ferreira de Castro was born
11.00 - Visit to a local brewery “Vadia”, managed by an immigrant

14.30 – Workshops (jilster.com – stories about influent emigrants/immigrants) / teacher’s meeting

21stApril (Friday)
08.30 – Presentation - analysis of the answers to the question “If you had to emigrate, what country would you choose?”
09.00 – Presentation “The image of migration in the media”
09.15 – Giving interviews to local media (newspaper “Correio de Azeméis”)
09.45 – Workshops (jilster.com – promoting the importance of migrants in society) / Teacher’s meeting

14.30 – Visit to the National Immigrant Support Center (CNAIM)
16.00 – Walking tour - Train station “S. Bento”, Rua das Flores

14.30 – Visit to “Vista Alegre” Museum
16.00 – Guided tour in Aveiro (includes a boat trip and a workshop about traditional sweets)
18.00 – Free time
19.00– Departure to Oliveira de Azeméis
20.00 – Arrival in Oliveira de Azeméis - Students are picked up by host families.
